‘Pitch Perfect 2’ Tops Weekend Box Office

“Pitch Perfect 2” had a big opening at the weekend box office to take the top spot over “Mad Max” and the “Avengers.”

The musical comedy starring Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson opened in first with $70.3 million… that’s more than the original “Pitch Perfect” made during its entire run in the theaters ($65 million).

“Mad Max: Fury Road” opened in second with $44.4 million while “Avengers: Age of Ultron” fell from first to third with $38.8 million.

“The Mindy Project” is moving from Fox to Hulu after the network cancelled the show.

The comedy starring Mindy Kaling was just cancelled by Fox after three seasons. But Hulu decided to pick the show up and ordered 26 new episodes.

The streaming service didn’t announce when season 4 would premiere.

Singer FKA twigs is rumoured to be engaged to 29-year-old actor Robert Pattinson., but admits it’s tough dating the rich heartthrob.

She says, ‘It’s really hard – I can’t begin to explain how awful it is. It makes you want to just stop everything sometimes. It makes you want to smash your face into the mirror.’

The 27-year-old biracial singer admitted she’s especially sensitive to the more racist comments coming from Pattinson’s outraged fans online.

She said, ‘It’s relentless. There’s no amount of songs I can sing or dances I can dance that will prove to them I’m not a monkey.’

But still, FKA twigs insists Robert is worth it, saying, ‘I’m so happy. I didn’t see my life going this way at all, but it’s worth it.’

“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” reality TV star Kim Richards is now facing criminal charges, stemming from her April arrest for public intoxication at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

Richards checked into rehab but apparently that did not impress the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

The DA has charged her with public intoxication, resisting arrest and battery on a police officer.

The night of her arrest, hotel security ordered her to leave because she was creating a disturbance. As she was being escorted out, the 50-year-old asked to use the restroom and then refused to come out.

When police arrived, she began cursing them and then kicked a cop in the leg.

Richards could face up to two years in jail, if she’s convicted.

A lingerie company has analyzed the curves of leading celebrity ladies and found the 30-year-old American actress has the perfect ‘Golden Ratio’ figure.

The ancient Greeks claimed there was a Golden Ratio for all things when they approached perfection, and Scarlett’s vital statistics of bust, waist and hip measurements give her a 96.4 per cent score against the Golden Ratio of beauty.

Her hour-glass curves came up with a figure of 1.560 which is close to the Golden Ratio of beauty of 1.618.

The ratio has been held for thousands of years to represent the epitome of beauty. Kim Kardashian was second with a 96.3 percent Golden Ratio, and 69-year-old Helen Mirren was third with a score of 95.6 percent.

Rapper Tyga’s family says they’re relieved that he’s dumped model Blac Chyna to swoon 17-year-old Kylie Jenner.

Tyga’s grandmother says she couldn’t be happier to see the 25-year-old rapper with Kylie, despite him having a two-year-old son with his ex.

70-year-old Kim Nguyen said: ‘We all love Kylie and think she is so much better for Tyga than Blac. Yes she is King’s mum, but Blac just wasn’t a very nice person and Kylie comes from a much better family.’

His grandma said of Kylie, ‘She is such a sweet, lovely girl and seems to adore Tyga.’

The woman added, ‘She loves Vietnamese food, so we love to cook it for her whenever Tyga invites us to his home.

When asked if the couple’s age difference, his grandma said, ‘Tyga is only a baby himself, so we don’t see what the problem is. All we care about is that she is a lovely girl, from a well educated family who are a great influence on Tyga.’
