Khloe Kardashian: “Confusing” Divorce From Lamar Odom Could Take a Year

When Khloe Kardashian found out her divorce from Lamar Odom would be expedited while he was in a coma, the reality star and her lawyer mutually decided to put it on hold.

Khloe later admitted it was a strategic move to help Lamar in his recovery and yesterday she further explained why she put it off and how it’s affecting her boyfriend, James Harden.

She said, “I just thought it was really insensitive to [expedite the divorce]. I get it, I get why it’s confusing, I understand all of that. James has been great. He’s been very supportive with everything.”

She added, “There’s of course times where I’m sure he was really uncomfortable about some of the things, but I’m a very honest person and I have nothing to hide and I was very open with how I feel like I had to handle everything with Lamar.”

“I really, really appreciate how supportive James has been, and it wasn’t just another layer of stress on me.”

Khloe also said Lamar’s organs are mostly recovered, but it’s his “brain that is affected.” She says his recovery will “take at least a year; at least.”
