Dark Knight Paris Premiere Cancelled Following Colorado Mass Shooting

A gunman opened fire during a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises at a Aurora, Colorado theater horrifically killing at least 12 moviegoers and injuring more than 50. Today, the film opens in theaters and plans for a red carpet premiere in Paris, France tonight have been cancelled, along with press interviews with the cast, following the news of the shooting. Warner Bros. has released a statement in regards to this devastating shooting: “Warner Bros. is deeply saddened to learn about this shocking incident. We extend our sincere sympathies to the families and loved ones of the victims at this tragic time.” Our thoughts go out to all involved and the family and friends of the victims who were tragically killed.

Jennifer Lopez & Steven Are Leaving American Idol

Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez both confirmed that they are officially done with American Idol. The Aerosmith singer released the following statement: “After some long … hard … thoughts I’ve decided it’s time for me to let go of my mistress American Idol before she boils my rabbit. I strayed from my first love, Aerosmith, and I’m back but instead of begging on my hands and knees, I got two fists in the air and I’m kicking the door open with my band.” Jennifer Lopez revealed exclusively to our morning show that she wants to focus on her two children and music career. According to a source, Sofia Vergara and Nick Loeb are engaged! After the pair recently but briefly broke up, Loeb reportedly popped the question at her 40th birthday party in Mexico last night. Although her rep has not yet released a statement, a friend posted a picture on twitter last night with Sofia rocking new bling on left hand. Congrats!

Tom & Katie Reach A Very Quick Settlement

Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes have already reached a divorce settlement! In a joint statement from Holmes and Cruise’s reps, Nanci Ryder and Amanda Lundberg, they said: “We are committed to working together as parents to accomplish what is in our daughter Suri’s best interests. We want to keep matters affecting our family private and express our respect for each other’s commitment to each of our respective beliefs and support each other’s roles as parents.” No details have been released regarding the amount of money Katie will receive for spousal support, but a source reveals that Suri will live with Katie in New York while Tom will have significant visitation rights.

Kourtney Kardashian and boyfriend Scott Disick welcomed their first baby girl on Sunday! The little bundle of joy weighed in at 7 lbs, 14 oz and they named her Penelope Scotland Disick. The 33 year old mother of two released the following statement: “Scott and I are overjoyed to welcome our precious angel Penelope Scotland Disick into our lives. We are forever blessed. Mommy and baby are resting comfortably.” Kim took to her website to congratulate the couple, saying: “Welcome to the world, Penelope Scotland Disick! Kourtney gave birth to a beautiful baby daughter on Sunday and the whole family is so thrilled to finally meet her! She is absolutely perfect! I am so excited to be an aunt again and can’t wait to spoil little Penelope. I know Mason is going to be the best big brother in the whole world. Congratulations Kourtney and Scott. After five years of marriage, Tom & Katie are sadly calling it quits. Her lawyer confirmed the news in a statement saying: “This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family. Katie’s primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter’s best interest.” A statement from Tom’s rep said, “Kate has filed for divorce and Tom is deeply saddened and is concentrating on his three children. Please allow them their privacy.” Katie has filed for sole custody of their daughter Suri.

Adele is expecting her first child with boyfriend Simon Konecki! The Grammy winner confirmed the happy news on her website, saying: “”I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together.
