“Since 1977, Women In Film, Los Angeles (WIF LA) has chosen to honor some of the most creative, dynamic and forceful women in the entertainment industry, those who excel and lead by example.” I will be voicing this year s Crystal & Lucy Awards , a gala fundraising dinner in support of WIF LA s many educational and philanthropic programs. The event will take place on Thursday, June 16th in the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The new President of WIF LA, Cathy Schulman, announced the honorees earlier today: 2011 Crystal Award for Excellence in Film ANNETTE BENING, 2011 Lucy Award for Excellence in Television NINA TASSLER, Women In Film Max Mara Face of the Future 2011 KATIE HOLMES, 2011 Dorothy Arzner Directors Award PAMELA FRYMAN, 2011 Kodak Vision Award REED MORANO. A Look Inside Nick Lachey & Vanessa Minnillo’s Wedding Shower

Nick and Vanessa celebrated their wedding shower over the weekend at the London Hotel in West Hollywood with 140 guests in attendance. The bride to be donned a white lace Monique Lhullier dress and danced the night away with her fiance. Chef Gordan Ramsay’s staff prepared the food and the couple had custom “V&N” cupcakes made for the occasion. Sounds like a beautiful party!

Jessica & Ashlee Simpson’s Tween Clothing Line

The Simpson sisters are collaborating on a tween clothing line that will be a part of the Jessica Simpson Collection brand! Jessica said: “Creating a tween apparel collection was a natural extension for the brand. I m excited to bring my sister, Ashlee, along as co-creative director of this division, because she brings a savvy rocker edge that defines today s tweens.” Ashlee divulged: “”My goal as co-creative director will be to design clothes that will help inspire young girls to express their personalities and creativity through fashion.” They have not yet revealed the name or release date for their collection but we do know that their line will include hoodies, denim, pullovers, graphic tees, outerwear and footwear. Moschino Pet Line

Moschino has recently created a line for pets, complete with collars, leashes, and tags! Proceeds from their pet collection will benefit “Dog Search Foundation”, a non-profit organization that specializes in recruiting rescued dogs and partnering them with first responders to find victims of natural disasters.
