Dark Knight Paris Premiere Cancelled Following Colorado Mass Shooting

A gunman opened fire during a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises at a Aurora, Colorado theater horrifically killing at least 12 moviegoers and injuring more than 50. Today, the film opens in theaters and plans for a red carpet premiere in Paris, France tonight have been cancelled, along with press interviews with the cast, following the news of the shooting. Warner Bros. has released a statement in regards to this devastating shooting: “Warner Bros. is deeply saddened to learn about this shocking incident. We extend our sincere sympathies to the families and loved ones of the victims at this tragic time.” Our thoughts go out to all involved and the family and friends of the victims who were tragically killed.
