The Museum of Broadcast Communications’ Radio Hall of Fame honors those who have contributed to the development of the radio medium throughout its history in the United States.
The Class of 2022 has 24 nominees chosen by the Radio Hall of Fame Nominating Committee, with input from the radio industry and listeners.
2022 Radio Hall of Fame inductees will be announced Monday, July 25, and honored in-person at the 2022 Radio Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, in Chicago.

The National Association of Broadcasters announced the nominees for the 2021 Marconi Awards. We’re so proud to announce our very own, Ellen K has been nominated for Major Market Personality of the Year. Ellen K‘s impressive career spans from her time co-hosting the nationally syndicated morning shows on KIIS-FM from 1990-2015, first with Rick Dees, then with Ryan Seacrest. In 2015, she began her own morning show on KOST-FM. The Ellen K Morning Show is heard weekday mornings from 5 – 10 am on KOST 103.5 and the nationally syndicated Ellen K Weekend Show is heard Saturday mornings from 6 – 10 am.
In addition to her work in radio, Ellen has voiced the Grammys for 10 years as well the Oscars, Emmys, and several other ABC and CBS TV projects. Ellen launched an annual fundraiser for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles on Giving Tuesday, which has raised 7 figures for CHLA. She’s also an Executive Board Member for Loyola High School and serves as the President of the Hollywood Walk of Fame selection committee.
