Drunk Customer Leaves $1,000 Tip & Takes It Back The Next Day

A waiter at a Thai restaurant in Edgewater, Colorado, was feeling pretty good about himself after receiving a $1,088 tip over the weekend, until the drunk customer who left it returned to get it back.

A server was clearing a table when he found the cash stuffed in the checkbook. Even though the tips are pooled the server was so happy.

The owner of the restaurant was skeptical of the tip and decided to wait before handing it out, in case the customer came back.

The next day the customer went back to the restaurant and said, “I’m sorry, I was drunk.” He didn’t know he put all the money he had in the checkbook.

He took back the money, but left $60 to cover his meal plus a $40 tip.

Justin Bieber fought back tears while paying tribute to Christina Grimmie during show

Justin Bieber paid tribute to Christina Grimmie during his show in Winnipeg earlier this week.

Bieber lied on the stage wiping away tears while performing his song, “Purpose.” He then sang, “Grimmie can you hear me?”

Bieber knew the “Voice” contestant through his ex, Selena Gomez who was good friends with Grimmie.

Christina was shot and killed after her performance in Orlando last Friday.

Beyoncé Raises $82,000 For Victims of Flint Water Crisis

Beyoncé had a special gift for the residents of Flint, Michigan.

On Monday, Beyoncé’s people presented a $82,234 check to the United Way of Genesee County at a Detroit high school in partnership with her foundation, BeyGOOD.

The funds are the result of fans who opted to donate to the city impacted by the ongoing water crisis.

In addition to the donation, 14 Detroit-based high school students were selected to receive college gifts for educational expenses and surprised with tickets to Beyoncé’s show last night at Ford Field.

Beyoncé wrapped up her 32-date North American trek last night before going overseas to Europe later this month. She will return to perform in the U.S. in September.

Sad songs trigger a wide range of emotions in people.

Researchers surveyed over 2,400 people to see how they reacted to sad songs.

They found some people said sad songs gave them enjoyment, while other said the songs gave them comfort, and others said they felt pain after listening to the songs.

Researchers say people have different emotions when listening to sad music due to the memories they have of the song. Duh!

$500k Of Possessions Stolen From Kevin Hart’s LA Home

Kevin Hart’s home in Los Angeles was robbed over the weekend while he was in Miami.

The thieves broke in through a backdoor and stole $500,000 worth of items including clothes, jewelry and watches.

Luckily the comedian and his family were in Miami at the time. Cops are looking at surveillance footage from the home to find the thieves.

Adam Levine Will Pay For Christina Grimmie’s Funeral

Singer Adam Levine was Christina Grimmie’s coach during her time on “The Voice” and now he offered to pay for her funeral.

Grimmie’s brother, Marcus, wrote on Facebook Sunday night that Adam Levine “personally called my mother and said he will pay for the funeral and her flight, and I was blown away.”

On Saturday, Adam Levine tweeted a picture of himself with Grimmie. He wrote, “Behati and I are absolutely devastated and heartbroken by Christina Grimmie’s death. Our hearts go out to her family.”

Adele Tears Up Honoring the Orlando Victims During Concert

Adele began her concert in Belgium Sunday night by honoring the victims involved in the Orlando shooting.

She said, “I would like to start tonight by dedicating this entire show to everybody in Orlando and at Pulse nightclub last night. The LGBTQ community, they’re like my soul mates since I was really young, so I’m very moved by it.”

Adele then joked that her music would be no help in lifting the mood. She told her fans “most of this tonight is pretty miserable because my songs are f-cking miserable. I do have two songs that sound happy, but they’re not.”

 

Netflix Reveals Most Binge-Watched Shows

Netflix has shared some insights about which shows are binge-watched most often.

The streaming service studied viewing habits of 100 shows across 190 countries, and found that on average, viewers watch 2 hours and 10 minutes a day of a series in order to complete a season.

The company found that viewers watched science fiction, horror, and thriller series like “Sense8,” “The Walking Dead,” and “Breaking Bad” for more than two hours a day to finish.

On the other hand, comedies like “Arrested Development,” political dramas like “House of Cards,” and historical dramas like “Mad Men” are shows that viewers tend to “savor,” watching less than two hours a time.

In the middle were series like “Daredevil,” “Better Call Saul,” and “Orange is the New Black.”

Never Floss? You’re Not Alone

If you never floss your teeth, you are in the same boat as a third of US adults.

CDC researchers asked more than 9,000 Americans aged 30 and over about their flossing habits.

32.4% said they didn’t floss their teeth at all. 30.3% who said they flossed daily and 37.3% flossed at least once.

The study found that men are less likely to floss than others.

A dentist says flossing prevents tartar buildup. Tartar can attack teeth and gums, eventually causing teeth to fall out.

Demi Lovato And Wilmer Valderrama Split After Six Years

Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderram split after almost six years of dating.

The singer and the “That 70s Show” actor both posted the same message on Instagram on Friday saying they are ending their relationship because they were better as “best friends.”

They also said it was an “incredibly difficult decision.” The two started dating in 2010 when she was just 18 and he was 31.
