George Lopez loaned Prince’s family $20G

Comedian George Lopez reportedly loaned Prince’s financially-strapped family about $20,000 pending results of the singer’s locked estate.

Allegedly, Prince and Lopez had a close, but private relationship.

The television host is pitching in by lending an allowance to Prince’s family — initially paid for out of Prince’s pocket — as legal experts pour over the singer’s estate.

It could take several years to sort through Prince’s assets because relatives and attorneys had no luck finding the late singer’s will. Prince’s sudden death on April 21 at his Paisley Park home in Minnesota prompted an estate dispute.

Prince has one surviving full-sibling, Tyka Nelson, and six half-siblings who have petitioned as Prince’s heirs in court documents.

Rihanna’s $80 Puma Fur Sandals Sold Out & Now Are Selling On eBay for $1,000

Rihanna’s line of Puma fur slides went on sale on last Friday for $80 per pair. They sold out quickly and now are being re-sold on eBay.

There are around 600 listing for Rihanna’s Puma fur slides, with 185 active auctions. A lot of the listing have already ended and the sandals went way more than the original price.

According to the eBay’s What’s It Worth tool, the average price of the item on the site has been around $185.

The prices have been exceeding that, with plenty of the listings going over $200 and several even went up to $300.

eBay confirmed that one person with a 6.5 shoe size, paid $1,000 for a pair of the black sandals.

Demi Lovato & Nick Jonas Cancel North Carolina Tour Dates Because of LGBT Law

Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato have canceled their upcoming tour dates in North Carolina in protest of North Carolina’s Public Facilities Privacy and Security Act.

Nick and Demi both posted on their Twitter accounts with a statement saying, “After much thought and deliberation, we have decided to cancel our Honda Civic Tour: Future Now shows in Raleigh and Charlotte. One our our goals for the tour has always been to create an atmosphere where every single atendee feels equal, included, and accepted for who they are.”

Playing music for babies improves their speech and makes their minds sharper.

Researchers looked at nine-month-old boys and girls who had attended musical play sessions. Infants were then tested a month later and had their brain activity scanned.

They found that brain regions key to music and speech were sharper which could make it easier for them to learn to speak and even to learn foreign languages later in life.

Angelina Jolie will return to the role in “Maleficent 2”, although a release date has not been set.
Disney also released information about several more upcoming live action films, including:

“Cruella” with Emma Stone in the title role.

“Dumbo” with director Tim Burton attached.

A “Mary Poppins” sequel starring Emily Blunt and ‘Hamilton’s Lin-Manuel Miranda.

“The Jungle Book 2” with director Jon Favreau returning.

And a “Tinker Bell” project with Reese Witherspoon set to star.

Taylor Swift appears in second commercial for Apple Music

Taylor Swift stars in another commercial for Apple Music– in it, she relives her middle school days and her love for the band, Jimmy Eat World.

The ad shows Swift getting ready for a night out by listening to the playlist “Jukebox Hits: 00’s Alternative Rock.”

She starts dancing and lip syncing when Jimmy Eat World’s, “The Middle” comes on.

It’s the second Apple ad to feature Swift this month.

On April 1st Taylor promoted Apple Music by rapping Drake’s song “Jumpman” while running on a treadmill. She got so into the song, she fell off the treadmill onto the ground.

Joe Manganiello ‘hospitalized for emergency surgery after appendix burst’

Joe Manganiello had undergone emergency surgery.

Sofia Vergara’s hubby was admitted to a hospital late last week where doctors discovered his appendix had burst.

The hospitalization comes after Manganiello dropped out of a project due to health issues.

The hunky actor was set to film the History Channel’s Navy SEAL Team Six drama, but had to leave due to physical restraints.

Team Six was already in production and is searching for a replacement.

Couples Stopped Texting Each Other For A Month – Can You Do It?

These couples agreed to give up texting each other for 30 days.

The month began and IT WAS HARDER THAN THEY THOUGHT IT WOULD BE.

And even though they could talk on the phone, this couple was experiencing dropped calls and terrible service. Basically, they weren’t able to talk unless they were together in person.

It was hard not to text when something stupid or funny happened, and also when one of them was late to meet up.

At the halfway point, they were starting to get bummed out.

On the plus side, it made their connection even stronger.

At the end of it all, this couple realized that they can get by with less communication.

“We definitely hung out a lot more, and spoke on the phone a lot more.”

One couple had the toughest time not texting and even broke it a couple times.

“We really hit our stride like mid-way through. And, just like an addict, we relapsed.”
