Olivier Martinez and Halle Berry have officially filed for divorce.
Both have cited irreconcilable differences and listed their date of separation as Monday.
The couple announced their divorce yesterday, saying: “We move forward with love and respect for one another and the shared focus of what is best for our son.”
Halle Berry asks for no spousal support for either party and for the costs of raising their child to be shared, but Martinez asks for issues of spousal support to be sorted out later. Halle says all of her earnings and assets are her property, per their prenup.
Both are seeking joint custody of their 2-year-old son, Maceo-Robert.
Berry and Martinez met in 2010 on the set of Dark Tide. They tied the knot on July 13, 2013. Their son Maceo-Robert was born on Oct. 5, 2013.
This is the first divorce for Martinez. It’s number three for Halle.
Adam Lambert and Demi Lovato shut down rumors of an alleged beef via Twitter on Saturday.
Rumor had it, Lambert was mad over a shake-up in tour plans. He had an opening slot on Lovato’s upcoming set of dates, but was replaced with Nick Jonas.
Lambert doesn’t appear to hold any grudges.
Lambert tweeted: “Aww I love you all very much. No beef tween @ddlovato & @nickjonas and me. Biz negotiations are complex- why do we care about the #rumors?”
Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have settled who gets what in their divorce.
The two decided to have joint custody of their three kids. They agreed to a 50/50 in physical custody, but Gavin is expected to have the kids most of the time because of Gwen’s touring schedule.
Gavin is also expected to accept less than his 50% share of the community property.
Gwen filed for divorce in August after 13 years of marriage.
Lamar Odom is still recovering after an overdose at a brothel in Nevada nearly claimed his life, and sources say the former NBA star suffered 12 strokes leaving his ability to walk and talk altered.
Fortunately, the strokes didn’t affect any of his vital organs.
However, Odom has quite a few other health issues to deal with — including (but not limited to) kidney failure.
“Doctors performed a series of brain scans on Lamar and discovered the strokes. Lamar’s medical team isn’t saying if the impairment is permanent. He’ll undergo months of physical therapy and doctors don’t know the extent to which his motor skills and speech will be restored”.
Lamar Odom has been undergoing dialysis, and may need a kidney transplant. He recently needed two emergency surgeries for “chest issues”. He is currently in the ICU at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles where he was airlifted last week.
Sources say that his wife Khloe Kardashian has not left his side, and that she even sleeps in the intensive care unit with him every night. She is reportedly the only person currently allowed to see Lamar. That may change if his condition is upgraded, or if he is moved out of the ICU.
Although he is off of life support and is breathing on his own, sources say that Lamar has a long road ahead of him, and his prognosis is unclear.
