Isabella Cruise tied the knot in a surprise London ceremony, and her famous father Tom Cruise was nowhere to be found.
Neither was mom Nicole Kidman.
Bella wed British IT consultant Max Parker in a secret ceremony that took place September 18 at The Dorchester in London.
Bella kept her guest list limited to a small group of close friends. Her father and her brother Connor were NOT in attendance — and there are no photos of her mother Nicole Kidman there either!
While the bride is a member of the Church of Scientology, and still attends services regularly, the groom is supposedly not a member of the faith, and reportedly has not even met Tom.
Nicole, meanwhile, is said to be “overjoyed” at her daughter’s marriage.
Courteney Cox has apparently asked singer Ed Sheeran, to perform the service when she ties the knot to Snow Patrol fiance, Johnny McDaid.
Ed is the one who introduced the lovebirds to one another.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: “They both agree it would be tons of fun as well as extremely fitting if Ed’s the one to join them in holy matrimony.
“He had already agreed to perform a couple of ballads after they exchange vows, so it seemed logical to him that he should get them hitched too.”
Courteney had previously confirmed that Ed will be performing at her wedding, but then joked that she and Johnny were leaving the rest of the planning to her 11-year-old daughter, Coco.
Selena Gomez decided to announce her Revival world tour from her hotel room.
She uploaded a video to Instagram yesterday with the caption: “The rumors are true… #REVIVALTour coming 2016!
According to her website, the tour dates will be announced in few days and it starts in May.
Selena will release the ‘Revival’ album on October 9.
Ed Sheeran and actress/model Ruby Rose will host the MTV EMAs together on Oct. 25.
Ed might be giving a lot of awards to pal Taylor Swift — she was nominated for a record-breaking nine EMAs earlier this month. Sheeran himself is up for Best Male, Best Live Act, and Best World Stage.
Sheeran and Rose have a tough act to follow. The 2014 EMAs, hosted by Nicki Minaj, boasted a 17 percent ratings spike and was the “most widely distributed show in MTV EMA history.”
The 2015 MTV EMAs will air live on Sunday, Oct. 25 from Milan, Italy.
Blake Lively is pulling the plug on Preserve, her lifestyle blog.
She said, “It’s not making a difference in people’s lives, whether superficially or in a meaningful way.”
After launching the lifestyle website in July 2014, Lively was criticized for the site’s content and featured products. She now says she’s proud of herself for shutting it down and admitting she didn’t create something that was as good as she’d hoped it would be.
She says she’s prepared to be slammed for shutting it down, and adds, “The only way I can prove all the negative reactions wrong is to come back with a plan that will rock people.” She also says she’s listening to Taylor Swift’s ‘Shake It Off’ on a loop.
Matt Damon defended his best friend, Ben Affleck, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. He says Affleck has a different personality than what’s perceived by the public, and added, “There’s nobody who’s more misunderstood.”
Damon said, “Ten years ago, the public image of him could not have been farther apart from who he actually is. It was like he was being cast in a role, that he was a talentless kind of meathead, with his whole relationship with Jennifer Lopez.”
Damon explained, “He just got cast as this person that he wasn’t. It was painful to be his friend, because it wasn’t fair, you know? To my mind, nobody really got him at all.”
Affleck’s all-time career low is widely considered to be “Gigli,” the critical and box office bomb he starred in with Lopez.
Damon says Affleck redeemed himself with successful films like the Oscar-winning Argo (which he also directed) and Gone Girl.
