BatKid-Official Trailer

Get your tissues ready. Warner Bros. has released the trailer for “Batkid Begins”!

The documentary tells the story of Miles Scott, who was a 5-year-old leukemia patient in November 2013 when the city of San Francisco helped the Make-A-Wish Foundation make his dream come true: He was a superhero for a day. Thanks to social media, the story resonated around the world and even got President Obama involved as Miles fought bad guys and saved “Gotham.”

Nope. Beyonce did NOT bathe in $20,000 wine

Beyonce did NOT dump a $20,000 bottle of Armand de Brignac champagne in a hot tub during the filming of her Nicki Minaj collaboration “Feeling Myself.”

The champagne actually costs $300 but the image going around showing a $20,000 price tag is photoshopped.

The photo was taken from Forbes’ 2014 list of the most expensive champagnes.

You want to sell magazines? Put Rihanna on the cover

There’s a clear answer for magazine editors desperate to grow their newsstand sales: call Rihanna.

Rihanna was the winner in the cover star stakes in March, helping Harper’s Bazaar register a 0.8 percent increase in newsstand sales to 120,000 copies.

People StyleWatch logged a 6.3 percent decline in March newsstand sales with its Kate Hudson cover. From there on, things got even uglier, with magazines recording double-digit falls.

Taylor Swift and her BFF Karlie Kloss couldn’t outdo Rihanna for Vogue. The Swift/Kloss cover sold 11.2 percent fewer copies in March than Ri-Ri’s March 2014 cover.

W took a 12.1 percent drop with its Scarlett Johansson cover, while Hearst’s Esquire magazine had a 12.3 percent decline with its Will Smith cover.

InStyle logged a 16 percent drop for its Kerry Washington cover, while Glamour registered a 20.2 percent decrease with a cover featuring “Fifty Shades of Grey” stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan.
