Kelly Clarkson Cancels Tour Dates To Rest Voice

Kelly Clarkson was forced to cancel the remainder of her U.S. tour due to voice strain.

Kelly tweeted out, “So bummed that I have to cancel some of my tour dates. This kills me, but doctors are saying I need to rest my voice. I can’t wait to get healthy and see y’all back on the road soon. I hate canceling and I am truly sorry to my fans that have been excited to see this show. Please know that I never cancel anything unless it’s absolutely necessary.”

The affected dates include shows in Vienna, Virginia, Florida, Raleigh, North Carolina and Camden, New Jersey. Refunds for all six concerts are available at the point of purchase.

Kelly Clarkson is scheduled to resume her tour October 1st at Kanata, Ontario’s Canadian Tire Centre.

Demi Lovato was on Alan Carr: Chatty Man to promote her latest single ‘Cool For The Summer’.

The host Alan Carr asked her about the lyrics of the song and Demi responds, “I am not confirming and I’m definitely not denying. All of my songs are based off of personal experiences. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with experimentation at all.”

Britney Spears announced during her show at The Axis at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas that she has signed a new deal to extend her residency.

Spears tells E! News:

“I’m not ready to leave Vegas yet! And I just really really love this show and this city. I’m so proud of the show, and my band, my dancers and my crew have all become such a family to me. When it came down to me really having to make this decision, I just couldn’t imagine ending my residency at the end of this year.”

OFFICIALLY: Jon Hamm and Jennifer Westfeldt Split After 18 Years Together

Jon Hamm and Jennifer Westfeldt have called it quits after 18 years together.

The two were last seen publicly together on July 22 in New York.

Earlier this year, the “Mad Men” star completed rehab for alcohol abuse and credited Westfeldt for supporting him throughout his treatment.

In April, the couple even released a statement denying reports they had broken up.

The two began dating in 1997 and starred together in the 2011 film “Friends with Kids”.

 

Kanye West helps MTV VMA’s break Twitter record

Sunday night’s MTV Video Music Awards were the most-tweeted non-Super Bowl event in U.S. history.

21.4 million tweets were sent throughout the show and three hours on each side of the program. It was a 69% increase from last year’s awards which saw 12.6 million tweets.

Kanye West had the most popular moment, with 247,525 tweets after he announced he would run for President of the United States in 2020.

Kesha, The Rock Star, To Appear on ‘Jane the Virgin’

Kesha is set to guest-star on an upcoming episode of “Jane the Virgin”.

The “Tik Tok” singer will play Annabelle, a rocker who moves next door to Jane (Gina Rodriguez). She will make her debut in episode two.

Kesha joins Britney Spears, who play herself in the fifth episode of the season.

The new season of “Jane the Virgin” premieres Oct. 12 at 9 p.m. on The CW.
