Oprah Winfrey dropped some major lessons to the graduating class of 2018 at USC’s Annenberg School of Communications on the importance of truth. Oprah was the commencement speaker and our city was lucky to have her presence. Watch this and take notes!
There’s really no words to do this story any justice. What we do know is this 911 victim was a father who was forced to leave his family behind after his passing, Mr. John F. Iskyan. John has made several attempts to connect with our very own Ryan Manno. This morning, we were able to connect on the phone with Mr. Iskyan’s son, Pete who was only 12 when his father passed. Good luck trying not to drool. Disneyland has debuted some really interesting treats new to the lineup as part of it’s Pixar Fest menu. These new treats will be selling all through summer until September:
The fruity pebble funnel cake fries. Yup! It’s basically a plate of funnel cake cut into french-fry-like pieces, with icing drizzled across them, followed by a good amount of whipped cream, and topped off with the cereal Fruity Pebbles… Yummy!
We are five months into 2018 and today we’re celebrating May with Lei Day! “Lei Day is a statewide celebration in all of Hawaii. The celebration begins in the morning of May first every year and continues throughout the entire day and even continues onto the next day. Lei day was established as a holiday in the year of 1929 and continues to this day.”

The Snipe Churro is a multicolored fruity pebbles type of churro with lemon flavor. It’s the prettiest one that we think will be the most Instagrammed Churro yet!
The Carrot Cake Churro is sure to be the tastiest one topped with cinnamon sugar and served with raisin carrot cream cheese frosting. You’ll find this churro at the cart near the Haunted Mansion.
The Strawberry Churro is waiting for you at Tomorrowland near the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters ride.
