California to Name Tunnel After Robin Williams

California will be soon be getting a Robin Williams Tunnel.

A bill to rename the tunnel, which connects the Golden Gate Bridge to Marin County and was once part of the comedian’s daily commute, sailed through the California Assembly 76-0 yesterday. The tunnel is currently known as the Waldo Tunnel and has also been nicknamed the “rainbow tunnel” because of its painted archways.

The bill, which started out as an online petition, will now be considered by the state Senate.

The tunnel’s rainbows “personify Robin in that he was so playful, fun, accessible, alive and colorful” and are also reminiscent of the suspenders he wore in Mork and Mindy, writes petition starter Julie Wainwright, who lived near Williams in Marin County.

‘Full House’ reboot is OFFICIAL

“Full House” is coming back.

John Stamos, who played Uncle Jesse Katsopolis on the popular ABC family comedy of the late 1980s and early 1990s, confirmed rumors of the show’s reboot Monday on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live”, telling Kimmel Netflix had ordered 13 episodes of the new comedy. He said the series would kick off with a one-hour special.

Later in the evening, the streaming service put out its own announcement, saying “Fuller House” will premiere in 2016. The comedy will star “Full House” veterans Candace Cameron-Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber, with Stamos set to produce and guest star.

Netflix says it is talking to other “Full House” stars, including Bob Saget, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin, about participating as guest stars.

Stamos told Kimmel that “Fuller House” will focus on D.J. Tanner-Fuller (Cameron-Bure) and her children; her sister, Stephanie Tanner (Sweetin); and their memorable kooky neighbor, Kimmy Gibbler (Barber).

According to the Netflix announcement, “Fuller House” will continue the adventures that began in the original, eight-season comedy, “with veterinarian D.J. Tanner-Fuller pregnant and recently widowed, living in San Francisco. D.J.’s younger sister/aspiring musician Stephanie Tanner and D.J.’s lifelong best friend/fellow single mother Kimmy Gibbler, along with Kimmy’s feisty teenage daughter Ramona, all move in to help take care of D.J.’s two boys – the rebellious 12-year-old J.D. and neurotic 7-year-old Max – and her soon-to-arrive baby.”

Rep Denies Report Tom Cruise Has Not Seen Suri For a Year

Tom Cruise’s rep denies a TMZ report claiming the actor hasn’t seen his daughter Suri for a year.

Allegedly, Cruise wasn’t able to see his daughter for months because he was shooting “Mission Impossible 5” in London.

However, sources say Cruise was off work for 2 weeks after shooting wrapped, and never saw his daughter.

Sources connected to Katie Holmes say Tom has not seen the 8-year-old in almost a year, but Tom’s rep says Cruise simply sees Suri on the down low to protect her from cameras.

The sources say that’s not true, and that Tom has just not been a part of Suri’s life.

Hugh Jackman told the world Saturday via Instagram that he’ll suit up one more time to play Wolverine in the X-Men series.

Problem is, which film will be his last? The sequel to “The Wolverine” is slated for release in 2017 and there’s an “X-Men: Apocalypse” set to hit theaters in 2016. Some think he’ll star in “The Wolverine” and make a cameo in “X-Men”.

In an interview for Cigar Aficionado magazine’s April edition, Jackman indicated that he wanted to keep playing the role for as long as possible: “I said to my wife, ‘The moral is that I should never stop playing Wolverine. I’ve got to find a way to keep playing him until I die.'”
