This Great Dane Named Pongo Needs A Home 🐶🏡

Two year old Pongo is a Dane in the truest form; he is gentle, sensitive, funny, and sometimes forgets just how big he is! His trainer says “he is a (very large) goofy teenager that just needs to be taught rules and boundaries. Other than that he is a prince.” Pongo is crate trained but is also very comfortable sleeping on his bed next to your bed or on the couch. He is social with people and other dogs and has spent time in a doggy daycare facility where he ran around with dozens of other dogs.

Pongo is super playful and would do well in a house with other dogs. He can try to referee play when things get too excited, so this is something he is working on. Pongo will also be happy as the only pup in the home.

Pongo’s ideal family should have large dog experience and be willing to continue working with him to become the very best (giant) dog he can be!

Ellen K’s Easy Friendsgiving Recipes & Games 🍽️🦃🎲

Friendsgiving is a fun way to celebrate Thanksgiving dinner with friends on any date other than the last Thursday of the month of November. The Ellen K Morning Show gathered some of their favorite recipes to bring along and some games that pair well with the fun! Ellen K’s Earthy Casserole

2-lbs of Sweet Potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces
1-lb Yukon gold potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces
4-oz (1-stick) of unsalted butter
2-1/2 tbsp chopped sage
1-1/2 cups of whole milk (warmed)
Salt & pepper to taste
1-cup fresh breadcrumbs
Boil potatoes together until soft. Drain water from potatoes once fork pierces through potato (about 10-minutes.) Preheat over to 375-degrees. Melt 1-stick of butter in a small saucepan over medium heat, swirl until golden brown for about 5-minutes. Stir butter, milk & potatoes, season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a casserole dish, cover with foil, top it with breadcrumbs and slivers of sage. Bake for 30-40 minutes, until breadcrumbs are golden brown. Voila!

Paul Stanley of KISS recently stopped by the Ellen K Morning Show and shared what he’s doing to celebrate Veterans Day.

Since its inception, the Rock and Brews has always honored veterans by treating them to a free meal on Veterans Day.

Veterans, active military, and first responders will be honored with a complimentary Pulled Pork Sandwich or a Strawberry Fields Salad.
