In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, the Ellen K Morning Show will be giving listeners a chance to win the “Ilene Pink” Headliner lipstick from Thrive Causemetics. The shade was created in honor of Ellen K’s mom, Ilene. After a long bout with non-smoking lung cancer, mama Ilene went to heaven. Her memory and legacy continue to thrive as we spread Breast Cancer Awareness and urge everyone to add self-checking to their routines.
The beauty product that Ellen K mentioned this morning comes with a lot of purpose. Thrive Causemetics empowers ladies thriving through tough situations they may face in life, whether it’s cancer or domestic violence. The “Headliner Lipstick” comes in many different shades and one of our favorites is the “Ilene Pink” in honor of Ellen’s special mommy. Thanks to early detection, mama Ilene was able to thrive as a Breast Cancer survivor for years. Check out the Ilene Pink, which sells online for $26.00. For every product purchased, Thrive Causemetics donates back to help communities thrive.

Bagel is the biggest goofball and the happiest boy, and don’t let his dopey face fool you – he’s no dummy. He is great on leash, knows sit, is crate trained, and listens after being corrected. Bagel turns into a lump when you scratch his ears and does a wiggle dance when you scratch his butt; he was born to cuddle.
Bagel thinks he’s a big dog and he is extraordinarily loyal and ready to protect your home the best he can (which is not very well, but very funny nonetheless). When he’s not pretending to watch over the neighborhood, his favorite activities include daily short walks and playing in the backyard. Like any other dog of his stature, he does have a hard time breathing if he overexerts himself, so he won’t be a good hiking or running companion.
Bagel needs a human who can make it clear to him that they are in charge and are ready to do consistent training work. Unfortunately, his former home did not correct him as a puppy when he was teething, so he is still learning that using his mouth is not a form of affection. Because of this, Bagel should be in a home with high school aged kids only.

The deadline is less than five months away, on May 3, 2023. DMV officials are encouraging us to get ours before the long lines begin as we get closer to the deadline.

He lifted off this week for a 6-month mission on the International Space Station. On top of being an astronaut, Rubio’s also a physician and former Army pilot. Want to learn more about his story?
