Jennifer Lopez, who was supposed to perform the official song of this year’s World Cup (“We Are One”) at the opening ceremony Thursday, has pulled out.
“Regretfully Jennifer Lopez will not be attending this year’s World Cup opening ceremonies,” her rep said in a statement.
“For production issues, Jennifer Lopez, one of the artists of the official song ‘We Are One,’ will not be able to perform at the FIFA World Cup opening ceremony,” FIFA said in a statement.

News broke on Wednesday, that Disney plans to revisit the classic Beauty and the Beast, adapting it to a live-action movie.
According to Variety, Evan Spiliotopoulos (The Jungle Book 2, The Lion King 1 1/2) will pen the script to Beauty and the Beast, and Bill Condon (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn) has been tapped to direct.
