Over the weekend, actress Emma Thompson caused a stir with many mom by suggesting that moms should put work on hold for a while to focus solely on their children.

Emma, 55, told the Daily Mail that she did just that, putting movie-making on hold for a year so that she could spend time with her 14-year-old daughter Gaia: You can t be a great mom and keep working all the time.”
