Simply incredible! First they partnered up to beat cancer, now they’re partnering up on the dance floor! So happy for you @ValentineGroup!

This will hit you right in the feels! When cancer strikes, no one is ever prepared.

“Dancers vs. Cancer” is a benefit hosted by Cancer Survivor, Steve Valentine and his Oncologist, Dr. Irene Hutchins. They first met when Steve was diagnosed with Hodkin’s Lymphoma. His Oncologist, Dr. Hutchins was there to treat his life threatening diagnosis and help him prevail this awful disease. Little did they know, they both shared a passionate art… Ballroom dancing! Just a couple of years later, they’re now partnering up as dance partners and hosting a benefit together.

All proceeds will support LLS, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Watch them Cha-cha, Hustle, Samba Dance and perform to Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” mega hit.  During treatment, she told him they’d dance together once he beats the disease. Well, that time is now! Join them this Thursday at the Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills on March 29, 2018 from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM PDT in the Esterel restaurant Patio.

We were all about the Oscars today and talking about one of our favorite moments with the star from “Coco”, Anthony Gonzalez! Our phones lit up with texts when we watched the 90th Academy Awards, specifically when the movie, “COCO” WON!!! We were all messaging one another when the movie won! For us, the movie was a special treat, not only to our community but to our show and all of our listeners. We have a really funny back story about Anthony Gonzalez & his sweet mama. We knew the world needed to know who Anthony Gonzalez was & it became our mission to get him on our show. Here’s some behind the scenes fun and how we had a crazy dream for our listeners that came true!

#OnlyInLA, is a box office hit movie added to the city calendar! The Disney Pixar movie that came into our lives last fall, featuring a predominantly Latino voice cast, many of which are from LA will be honored today at 9am at the historic L.A. City Hall Council Chambers as the city council declares today, February 27th, “Coco Day.” Congrats to our friend, Anthony Gonzalez!

The movie is about a little boy, Miguel, a 12-year-old boy who ends up in the Land of the Dead on Dia de los Muertos. The movie has been nominated for two Oscars: best original song (below) and best animated feature film.

A movie is in the works as we type this about the man who invented Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.  In a nutshell, a janitor at Frito Lay came up with the idea, pitched it to the company and now he’s a top-level executive!
